Default B17 Bomber crew flight suit?

    Gent's I need a little help.
I have a buddy Phil who was a WW2 B17 bomber waist gunner. He actually was the WG on the B17 that my uncle Joe was the tailgunner on. They were "The Crew of the Mrs Geezil". I talked to Phil last night. 97 and Sharp as a TACK!!

I want to put together a Bomber crew flight suit. I asked him if he wore the leather ones and he said "No I wore the shiney green ones?

So my request for help is..
What type of suit is he talking about?

He was 8th AF 384th BG 545th BS and was flying from August 1943 till they were shot down on April 13th 1944.

Would this be the A9, A10 or A11 pants? Looking at some references (Gear Up) and one from a site about the 303rd Hell's Angels. The A11l came in late in the war. But im not sure if it would have made it to being issued in April 1944.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hang on a min. it's one of those electrically heated ones, I'll quickly look for one I have in my pic archive - only have the overalls part and not the jacket! but what I have is really an under suit.

He wore the heated blue bunny suit under his uniform which he wore under coveralls then the flight suit.
The A 10 looks like it would fit the description he gave.
So would the A10 and jacket fit that time frame?

B15 I think and should do in the time frame as it's mid/ late '43.

I read the B15 jacket came in December of 44. So something earlier. They were shot down in April '44
