British Army Tropal Coat (1941)

Morning all,
I want to share with you these two my "Tropal Coat" 1941 marked, they come by a small amount discovered in a farm in Northern Italy, I took these two for a few Euros, they were those in the best conditions.
This find tells me their use on Italian Front, as well as in Norway and North Africa, but the question is this:
in the second example (see photo N°4/5-ex.2nd), contains a stamp with the manufacturer's name from "Cockrill & Rew of London", the production year 1941 and below the inscription "Flameproof"; in my experience I know these coats were designed to protect from the cold, so why they are marked "flameproof"?
