British Battledress Blouse
Article about: It is indeed a 1946 Pattern. The British ditched the hook and eye collar and went back to the pleated pockets. Quite rare now actually!

Re: British Battledress Blouse
intresting.....definatly not a 49 pattern collar. i think its either a 46 pattern or it could be a 49 pattern with an altered collar for an officer.

British Battledress 1937-61 - Google Books
have a look at this link aparrently there was a 1946 and a 1947 pattern blouse yours seems to match the discription of the 47 pattern, but as it says there were many unoffical modifacations to the collars done by private tailers...

Re: British Battledress Blouse
HI JD, you have a 1946 pattern.
The 1947 pattern had a large shirt type collar.
Cheers, Ade.
