The British Leather Jerkin

Hi Ade,

No problem. I have three to share, the WWI from the Boston Depot dated 1918, a well used WWII version who's label is sadly unreadable and one I had forgotton I had but is a very nice Madras made Indian pattern in very light leather. I can't imagine wearing a leather jerkin of any weight in India but then again...I am not British!

Yes I believe the WWI is a US made jerkin but to be honest I have not yet researched it so don't know it for certain. Conversely the tag is in a US style and I have never heard of a Boston Depot in the UK!

Looks as though it has no wool liner, am I correct?
