British Parachutists camo jacket

This one probably came here as part of military help to partisans after 1943. As British army is not my field of interest/knowledge, every post is welcome.

Hi, this is a WW2 British Army "Windproof" camo smock.

It is not a special Airborne / Paratroop item. But they were worn by some special forces units such as the SAS etc. You will always see them sold as this

But they were far more commonly worn by the regular Infantry and even by women soldiers of the ATS by the winter of 1944.

It is a nice item and they are popular with collectors.
