    Below a Canadian battledress jacket I have acquired recently. It supposedly belonged to a WW2 officer, however doesn't look like a typical WW2 pattern. Any ideas on what it actually is?

    I assume you mean the open collar and lapels, typical officer conversion for wear with a tie. The back is typical for best bd.
