Hi Friend
This is a 1967 Army Green Uniform. DSA 100-67-C-1294 NUMBER 67 is the contract date.
Army Green uniform came into service circa 1956/57 period and the patches are post 1957-pre 1966 cut edge Army Green border and matching Hell on Wheels rocker.
The DUI represents a medical regiment organic to 2nd Armd Div during this period. Not to sure of the regt.

The rank is specialist 4th Grade. The Over seas cap is for the rank of Lieutenant Colonel so not with uniform.

Hello Phill
Thanks for the help and info on the uniforms, didn't think they be from mid-50s-60s and a wrong cap in the mix.
also is there a way to tell when they are from is they aren't marked?
-
The biggest clue is that it is the Army Green uniform.
The US Army used the Pinks and Greens up to 1956, basically a khaki coloured uniform.
Also the DSA number was the contract date/year.
Google US Army uniforms WWII, Army Green service uniform etc...

I remember reading about it somewhere and if I have it right that they showed of a prototype of it or something?.

Its official
Most likely they will work on a colour scheme for the chevrons and note the Army Green Border on 75th Innovation Command(formerly 75th Training Cmd), the WWII era was Olive Drab so Army Green bordered patches will probably receive a new colour?

Actually the rank on these is Specialist 5 (E-5) and I believe the dating of these from prior posts is roughly correct, I think the 2nd Armored Division during that period was station in Germany, still not a bad set if you didn't pay too much for these!

Fantastic!
Glad to see a return to the smartest uniform in US history!
