Dating a USAF jacket

Could someone please tell me the date of this USAF jacket , also if it has any value . If not I'm going to wear it this summer .
Also is there a link for US clothing tags ?

Having been USAF marked the jacket has to be late 40s early 50s the tag in this one seems odd to me

These were issued into the late 60s and mayby later. Most certainly post WWII. I believe the tag would be 50s. Not a big collector item.
If you want to wear it go for it.

Thanks for the replies , I just didn't want to ruin a collectable item . So it will make a great camping jacket .
