    Hi,
can you tell me if this denison is wartime? It has a label dated 1942, but it also has a full-zipp (postwar?). It can be a post war denison with a changed label? If it is wartime why it has a full zip?
A collector tell me it is a 1st pattern... is it correct?
    Thanks

Good looking 1st pattern, tailored to full zip, perhaps for an officer or as many were for general use in the early post war period.

I used to have an unissued one like this but slashed down the back with a knife which until the 1980's was the standard practice when British Army camouflaged clothing was released.
