Check manufacturer's markings on the helmet. US WWII helmets should be marked inside the shell at the front of it (serial number stamped by McCord or Schlueter firm - if it is McCord without block S letter I could help you to identify month and year of production).
Liner should be marked inside at the top (CAPAC, Firestone, etc.).

The interior of helmet liner is ok and colour matches ww2 period but better photos would be needed to confirm originality.

Helmet liner looks WWII. It is missing the nape strap in the rear and the liner chin strap. Can't see the shell very well. Overcoat looks good. NH
