Hard to tell from one sideways picture. Do you not have any more pictures?

Hi Jerry this particular piece comes from Bexley Militaria and I asked of a closeup pic of the insignia. The rest of the pics can be found here http://bexleymedalsandmilitaria.co.u...h=50503&phqu=5. I know i shouldn't post links but I haven't asked permission for copying the pics from the site.

It is a difficult call to make if insignia is period applied and the potential difference in value of a bd with insignia compared to a bd and the loose insignia. I would hesitate to comment on such these days, but as you did not get it I was not totally convinced wirh this one, but it is just an opinion and no one is infallible.

    Thank you Jerry

In fact I had my doubts since it was a mint example. The pics from the site were looked convincing, but just to be on the safe side i asked for more detailed pics. Once I saw this one that I uploaded here, which is the only one provided by the seller, my thought was that the insignia were applied postwar.
