    it's also had the gas flap removed

    The Korean War pattern shirt had the pockets reduced and the buttons were plastic. Plenty of these saw service in Korea though.

    I agree, second pattern WW2 shirt. But could have been used post war too.

    There is a pattern 15 July 1944 which is the 4th pattern that has plastic and steel riveted button models

    Yours is WW2 don't worry and it's a 3rd patt with the pocket pleats and from my standing the harder one to find
    Front one is a 50's 4th patt
