    after researching online for a few hours 2 of the badges in the photo are Victorian Battlions badges from ww2 the 7th and 8th and 2 are Queen Victoria Jubilee medallions from 1887 and 1908 amazing what you find in forgotten boxes. Any more sites for raaf tunics would be appreciated thanks

    the six raaf badges under the air gunner badges are from sidecaps and the 8 sided metal discs look a bit like unissued dog tags......also a couple u.s. buttons in amoungst there. your collection is coming along nicely

    been told the gold bird with red crown is a RAAF Warrant Officers Cap Badge - QC not sure if its ww2 vintage as my grandfather served until the 1960s

    no, just the one it was my grandfathers, it looks alot like the first one you posted.......it hung behind the door in my parents laundry for 25 years before i rescued it. Unfortunately it has some fading from the sun.

    there fantastic tunics dont think they made them for 6 foot 3 100kg guys so i wont be wearing one any time soon. i have been looking at getting a summer uniform but they same even harder to find.

    by the way keep an eye out for the melbourne arms and militaria fair, not sure when it is but mite be a good place to look for tunics

    Default grandfathers aircrew

    was told he was with the 25th squadron RAAF in 1944 1945 not much infomation in his WW2 record
