    Got a beautiful brand new looking Raf LM Tunic still has paper laundry tage sewn in to the pockets . Trying to find out a date

    2nd Jacket was bought as a WW2 Raaf Summer Jacket Squadron Leader. Having a few doubts regarding era. Also trying to identify the Ribbon that came with the Jacket. after the 3rd attempt photos are out of wack sorry

    1st ribbon - Australian Service Medal 1939-45, 2nd - 1939-45 War Medal, 3rd - Defence Medal and 4th - Pacific Medal.

    I can't help with the RAAF uniform but the medal bar is missing the 1939-45 Star-if he qualified for the Pacific Star he would have that-the Stars are worn 1st left to right looking at the wearer so your pics show the bar upside down (if you're going to attach them to the tunic).

    Hi

    The RAF uniform looks very new 90s or newer the half wing is for load master the older style of the jacket was
    reintroduced in more recent years

    The RAAF uniform is post war by the MTX label the buttons will tell you how far king or queens crowns
    the pilot wing is post 53 looks ok

    A lot of these uniforms have only changed in small ways fabrics buttons etc
