    Sorry my dad said i cant post pictures of the dog tag. But here are pictures of the eto jacket. There is some mothing but not that bad. There is one big whole in the back but is hardly noticable.

    Fair enough on the tags
    Wow your shirt has the tag lovely - none of mine are legible! Double plus as it looks like the shirt had a gas flap

    ok it looks like the shirt has buttons on the inside there yes? on the opposite side there should be an extra flap or stitching remnants on the inner front to show if it had one or not? the gas flap where commonly taken off

    Yeah thats cool that it had one. Do you know how much these are worth all together? Im never going to sell it cause its family history im just wondering?

    Ryan,

    I just read this thread. You or your Father may be able to get replacement medals/awards as well as a copy of your Uncles service records from the
    National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Here's the web site link and a link to request replacement medals:

    Military Personnel Records and Awards and Decorations

    I requested copies of my Father's records years ago and found out that some were damaged or destroyed in a fire at the center.

    Thats what were planning to do is to get replacement medals. Do you know how much it will cost?
