I think its the US M-65 Field Jacket but it would be nice to see a picture of the jacket itself.

Here is another picture. I also thought m-65 but the "STARGENT" label and the five star patch have me confused.

Thanks, but i'm looking for a little more information than that. Date, label, patch etc.
the stock number is not in any database that i've looked through
I have not been able to find anyone who has ever seen the stargent label
and not anyone i've talked to has ever seen a five star patch on a field jacket.

The stock number doesn't seem to make sense, post 75 should be a 13 digit number with no letters, this must be post 75 as woodland camo was introduced in 81.
I found another Stargent label though!..

This one has the same stock number Rothco Ultra Force U.S. Army Field Jacket W/Liner Size 3X Regular Camouflage (02/19/2013) but you are right it is unusual.

Rothco Ultra Force Mens 6XL Military Field Coat Jacket Green US Army NEW W/ TAGS this one also has the stock number. Maybe they are civilian made under licence ? Strange not to have the NSN.
