    Default Newbi's great yard sale finds!

    i was out a yard sale and the lady there let me clean out her crawl space and this is what i found ( only $40 for all!!) ww2 letters about 20, ww1 german infantry belt buckle, guys picture, khaki shirt shorts and long pants, a garrsion cap, enlisted mans dress hat, books on field medics, artillery, army revervist book, pipe with airborne divison clover on side, a couple buttons and a couple other small things. questons, comments, statements? all are welcome! - nick k

    THANKS! i love this stuff too but i think the most interesting is the pipe with the clover leaf is it from a airborne division?? i need to do some research. - nick k

    The pipe with the cloverleaf is probably a "KayWoodie" . The cloverleaf was there mark. This company was founded by three Austrian Brothers (2 in New Jersey or New York and 1 in Austria who would ship in parts etc. from Austria) They go back to the 1930's and were bought out in the 1970's I believe. The "K" stands for Kaufman. I picked one up at an antique store and researched it.
