original irvin jacket , A2 and M43

hello all, this is my first post and my collection, all from the period of ww2

The A2 is a great jacket. The ninth Aircorp was the workhorse in providing air cover for ground and armored units in Europe. A real nice model 43 field jacket. I am not familiar with the Irvin jacket.

A2 jacket, Dday operations from the UK, Stansted base. Irvin is a model contract in 1939. Pilots clothing, Lancaster, Spitfire ( Battle of Britain ) is the equivalent of usaaf B3 jacket
