is this an original M41 jacket

hi chaps, could anybody help on this? I am new collecting ww2 US what do you think of this M41 jacket zipper, the color seems redding brown, which is usually green.

Check this (Zipper History - Invention of the Zipper) out regarding Talon zippers. Looks like the Talon brand began life in 1928.

looks good, regarding Talon zips, usually WW2 types will have "Made In USA" but this is not rule of thumb.

Yes, yours is original. The talon zipper was used on a good number of m41's. I own one as well.
