    Default Parka ID Help Needed

First I want to say - this is, by far, the most friendliest community I have seen online. I have been a voyeur for the past few months & you all are so kind and incredibly helpful.

Anyway, I have this parka that's in not-so-good shape. The zipper to the lining is non-functioning, the snaps are rusted, & there's some holes. So, I am hoping you can help me figure out what type of jacket it is - so I can a) sell it, b) donate it, or c) fill a landfill with it.

Any help at all would be oh-so-appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

I believe this to be a civilian coat and not military in nature..........

Hi, and welcome to the forum! Thanks for the kind comments.

    I must agree with Steve.

The Zip fastener is made by "YKK": these are a modern company still in business today as far as I know.

    Cheers, Ade.
