Thats really cool! The only reason i posted this thread is because im thinking of collecting first army patches because there is such a different verity its just cool. Also my great uncle was in the first army for 3 years during wwII.

Yeah i just got a book from the library that was called u.s patches from the 20th century and i was looking and i see a whole page of 1st army patches with different inner A colors. That sparked my interest to maybe start collecting First army patches as a side collection thing.
