I know it's a mundane item, but this is my very first US jacket I ever had and geeze time flies I've had it for 20 years now

Nice one Rene. Congrats on holding onto it for 20 years too! Sadly you are right tho, alot of collectors find these somewhat mundane, but I think the ones with Unit insignia like this have alot of character.

Love how the lapel buttons have nice wear to them on your example

It guess it may depend on which part of the world you are from as to how mundane such an item is to the beholder.
I wish I had it in my little uniform collection.

It is a special one for me as it's my first of many many US uniforms and come to think of it my first allied jacket! as a kid I only had allied helmets and gear!

Rene great jacket hope you dont mind here is mine. Bought it at an estate sale the photo is the vet wearing the jacket.
