And how much would that lot worth today ?

I used to collect US items back in the 1980's.
The trousers could be wartime, but might easily be post war too. There should be a label sewn to the inside of the pocket which will be dated. The ink stamp will be the soldiers service number.
The Class A uniform tunic is 100% WW2 issue.
The ties are fine. The cap I cannot say for sure, but might be post war.
Cheers, Ade.
Thanks Ade

I forgot to say the value would be fairly low. The tunic has some shiny marks from being pressed with an iron. I would say about $50 to $60 maximum for the lot.
Cheers, Ade.
1980's when i was born
my mate has a us ww2 jacket with awards (i think) that he found in a old trunk box thing while clearing out a former old folks care home here in scotland he doesnt evan collect nothing!! i thought it was russian tho will have to see if i can get some fotos of it sometime its dirty and needs ironed? take it thats a bad idea with things like that ade?
frenchy sorry for useing your post for that
Hi Ewan, I had a big US collection back then. I used to re-enact US Inf. Everything was original even down to the socks and underpants! Sadly it all get sold when I divorced in 1989.
Get me some pics of your mates items and I will tell you what it is.
Ironing is a very bad idea if you don't know what you are doing. That jacket Frenchy showed has been ironed with a hot iron without a cover, hence the bad shiney marks.
Cheers, Ade.
hi ade not so good news mate
the pants and socks minted
i will get pics some time(lives diffrent town) it is a tunic of some sort i think its russian like as iam sure there was the star etc on a badge this was found about 3 years back i sure hope hes not ironed it without a towel or something on it!
p.s dont qoute me on it(russian) remember i asked you if a old american button was german
cheers ade for the insight mate
No problem Ewan i always enjoy reading other stories
