What period HBT uniform?

    It's a 4th patt I've a few of these, very late ww2/Korea issue with the brown buttons same type found on M43 jackets,It doesn't look like name tapes where present so not 60's issued , in the 50's the buttons went to green.

    I have a 4th pattern with the metal buttons, but I thought they (4th pattern) were all 50's?

    Well than it could be late 40s? And It would not be correct for a WW2 impression? My grandfather is a WW2 veteran and I asked him about it and he said that he had no Idea what I was talking about and that he only wore Hbts when he was in the pacific.
