I also found this badge commemorating the first contingent of American troops to serve in Europe (those who volunteered instead of being drafted). I assume the bullion sleeve star on my field jacket means the same thing...
Can someone advise me on proper placement on my tunic?
I'm hoping someone can make suggestions for additions.
I'm trying to portray an immediate post-WWI soldier on garrison or guard duty... As such, no heavy field gear.

I'm hoping to add an M1917 or M1903 bayonet and a canteen.
