WW2 New Zealand Army Pacific cotton drill tunic

This tunic my grandfather worn during 1943 & 1944 in the Pacific. It's a parade version, I also have his CD field tunic, Sam Brown belt, holster for his .45 revolver (which as a 9 year old I attacked with black boot polish) and cap. The tunic has that lovely sweat stained collar that speaks of the tropics.

I used white shoe polish on my Great Grandfather's Boer War bayonet frog as a child.
He served with an Otago mounted unit.
