Default WW2 US 1st Inf Div Jacket

Here's a WW2 US 1st division Jacket I don't know if this one is from a D-Day Vet, maybe. About four years ago my wife found this one at a yard sale while I was at work. Sadly no id on this one, and my wife couldn't remember where she found it. All the insignia is original to the jacket as found. Thanks for looking, Rob.Click image for larger version.

    Hi,

Is it alright to put the service ribbons on the pocket flap?

There should be a tag in the bottom left pocket.

    Regards,
    Taka

Yes, Taka-san there is a tag dated 1942 in the pocket. The ribbons really should not be on the pocket flap, but that's the way I got it, so I left them there. Rob.

    It looks good to me.
Put the ribbons just above the pocket with the CIB above that.
The way they are now is incorrect. Obviously the vet didn't do it.

Here's the tag on the inside of the lower pocket. The ribbons have been in the same place for a long time, the pins have left rust marks on the back of the pocket flap. Ro.Click image for larger version.
