Can't really tell a thing about it with that pic. Looks like US Army, no older than the late 50's. What does the seller claim it to be? John

Ask them for close-up shots of the insignia.........!

It could be a US Army officers jacket and shirt with added AAF pins.

I wouldn't touch it unless he provides much better pics if he does not he's trying to hide something. I can tell you from what little I can see its not WWII USAAF, it looks green with brass buttons to me which would make it US Army no older than mid to late 50's, probably later. I can't make out the patch but its not AF. John

It would be nice to have bigger pics. I think it will be fine. The missing belt might be an issue. The patch appears to be the early pre 1941 USAAC patch. See here:

Ade, Does the jacket look green to you? My deceased Father -in- Law flew B-17's during WWII and we still have his uniform and it is definately dark brown. I believe the Army went to green after the Korean War in the 50's. I would like to be wrong about the posted pic as $150 appears to be a good price for a genuine WWII USAAF blouse. Would like to see better pics. John

Officers wore green during WW2, often known as "Chocolate green" while enlisted men wore khaki brown.

This is an Officers blouse Note the collar insignia etc.

    Cheers, Ade.
