    Default WWI Pilot Tunic

I went to visit my Fiance's family this weekend and found many interesting items while we were at her grandmothers. Her great grandfather (Robert Temple) was a pilot in WWI, I believe he mainly trained pilots in a Curtiss JN-4.

His father was from England and both of which had strong connections there. Both of them had many inventions and patents for many war related devices.
Anyways here are some pictures of his tunic, his pocket watch, and a portrait of him.

Great pieces. The watch is pretty much a generic '18 size' Elgin in a quality, monogrammed
'Philadelphia Watch Case Co.' case - but what a fantastic heirloom set. The tunic looks mint.
The year in which the watch was made is 1889-1890.

Couple of questions - Who made the illustration and when, also was the
British 'MBE' medal his, and can we see some pics of it.........?

Haha I would like to think that!!! and I do not want to sound impractical but Ive been trying to gather air core stuff recently to make some sort of a museum whether online or physical I would like to do so in remembrance of them obviously.
I think Ill try to put a pocket watch in every display jk, but at the rate I am going who knows...

It was very well taken care of I believe it was in the same estate that the owner lived, and it was in a sealed hanging bag.
