Well, we do have some very well versed M1 experts here and I am sure they will be along shortly but for the sake of a quick response I would say no to this one. To my eye the condition of the liner and the chinstrap on the shel do not come near matching the condition of the shell. If they had been together since 1944 the liner would surely be in worse condition than the shell and that leather strap on the liner looks like it was made yesterday!
Just my first impression in case you are in a hurry but wait fot the expert assessment if time is not critical.

Can you give the number in the liner, for the specialists, they ask allways this information.
It's seem it post WWII.

I don't have any more pictures, but I think you are right, the liner seems to new.
Chinstrap on the helmet are reproduction, the liner and chinstrap are not original to the helmet. IF you were told the that the whole helmet set is a battle of the bulge helmet then I am safe in saying the shell is not a battle of the bulge shell and someone is trying to take advantage of you.

I do not even like the position of the bales/loops on the helmet. I would pass on the helmet.

Though it may look "cool"...have to just leave it alone.

Beyond the originality of the helmet.....
Except for some white paint, what evidence is the seller producing to support the claim that this helmet was from the Battle of the Bulge? Just because it is white doesn't mean it is from the Bulge!
