got this today another really nice M-1 again looks to have been put together from a canadian used lid

Yeah Nick, it looks a little like a put together to me also. The surplus NOS chin and nape straps kinda give it away. On the upside, it does appear to be all 'nam era stuff so, it's still a great representative piece.
