It will be interesting to see what it makes this time.
They say it is relisted due to non payment, could be true you never know.
I see the seller has “returns accepted” this thing might be bounced around forever. But then he has sold as seen further down.
    Yes it should be scrapped.

I see this has been relisted.
The £600 buyer must not have been happy chappie at all.

Either that, or it is a common case of shill bidding gone awry and the "non-paying winner" bit is just part of the deception.

Rod, it is Dude, not Dud. My ex might agree with the Dud, but my friends, family, and former soldiers might say otherwise

I know nothing about helmets, what is the going rate for this particular units lids then?
As 600 seems a bit steep to me, but then im a cheapskate when it comes to kit.
Also, if schill bidding, doesn't look good that bidders identity hidden!

Sorry HoovieDude for that old boy, you are quite right pulling me up about that, better being a Dude than a Dud that’s for sure. Im a Dud my spelin is teerable!
Diver99 I agree with Nick, I think if it were a real ID stencilled M2 helmet it would make well over £8000 . That’s why these are probably the highest faked ww2 American helmets.

Blimey, thats a lot for a bit of tin.
I would be getting the list of who served and doing ancestry search, and knocking on doors then if I lived in the states.
