Default Early Vietnam War M1C 1964 dated

Been looking for a 64 dated M1C liner for a while and I am pleased to say I have one This particular type 2 liner is a Marmac manufactured liner dated 26MAR64. The liner is missing its 3 point nape strap but will pick one up soon to compliment this helmet. The headband is also dated 64 and the mitchell cover is dated 64 also. The steel body is a McCord manufactured helmet with a heat stamp of M-131A which puts this one around the Korean War period, it has two coats of paint first one a light OD as seen on Korean War Era M1s and it has been repainted for the Vietnam war with a slightly darker OD. Still searching for earlier M1C liners thanks for looking guys.

Strange Ian that i never commented on this thread?looks like one of the 1st Marmac contracts issued in the summer of 64,these rarely show in today's market as its normally flooded with 67/70 versions, nice condition too,and an early DSA Mitchell to boot, also usually out gunned by so many 64/65 government contractor types still out there, defo a keeper IMHO,with prices constantly on the up,got to mention a nice 51 McCord too,so much going for this set mate.
