I found I flak helmet I may be interested in and saw that it had clips on the bales. Was this normal or were they added on later?

I know they sell on Ebay from 90$ to 150$.
I bought the one I have for 45$
I think a good price should be 50$ to 85$

Why did they have different kinds because I see that the one on the left is different than the right. This is on ebay and they are asking $130 plus $35 for shipping but I can put in best offers.
