The liner looks like a original M1 liner, but im not shure about the shell. - Anyway, its a ok liner

the liner is def ww2, and id say the helmet is being a front seam, fixed bale with khaki straps. As for the captain insignia it looks original but who knows.

Yep No problems with the helmet shell, or liner both are WWII production

    I. E "Bartaked" straps

Front seam (till about July 44)

Fixed bales (loops) again early production style. (till about mid 1943)

The liner will have some makers mark stamped or molded into the crown on the inside

Liner WWII or just after, my guess mid WWII due to the colour of the "A" washers, and front 3/16 size eyelet for attaching metal rank insignia.
