Article about: Here is another helmet of mine. It's a front seam, swivel-bale M1 with a Korean War era CAPAC liner. It has an officer's stripe on the back as well. It came with a mosquito net. My question

as far as im aware these covers were only manufactured during WW2 but they were used right up to the 1960's where in some pics they can still been seen in use in Nam.

Could you provide more pictures? The cover looks off a bit. Most of them had the "foliage loops" sewn to them, much like we see on boonie caps.

Yea, sorry guys, it is inside out.
I tend to leave things as I got them. I have always thought that it looked funny too.
