    Default Late war/Occupation Liner

Picked up this MP decaled Liner I assume it is possible late war/occupation troops. It is a Firestone with Brass A washer and United carr chinstrap with 1945 dated sweatband, and nape. Excellent condition overall.

Looks a nice original liner, but I don't know about
the decals. They look like they were cut from
    a larger piece.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

Has anyone seen similar? It looks like they have been on there a long long time..

Nice late war Liner, completely original except for those decals, looks like someone rushed to apply them as they haven't cut them properly,if genuine most likely late 50's to 60's,the Liner itself is a very nice example to boot, either way its all good, thanks for sharing..........

I agree with what has been said above.
    Probably decals added in 1950s.
Remember WWII helmets and liners were used/reissued well after the war was over.
