Latest addition-Medic M1.

Hi Guys.

Here's the latest addition to my collection.

Another ebay,purchase, it was a risky purchase,as these Medic
M1's are, fairly rare and therefore easily faked.

My sources inform me,this is a Korean war medic lid, and needs chinstrap's,and a headband,and nape strap.

But otherwise is a good example of a 1943 shell,with late war liner,recycled for use in the korean war.

The shell has a pretty nasty split in it,as you can see from the pic,but otherwise in good nick.

Any comments good or bad, as ever are welcome

Wow, the shell is heavely cracked, but beside that looks nice.

Yeah this one looks like it's been through a war or two, the description did say it was cracked,so I kind of knew what I was letting myself in for, I did'nt realise it was gonna be this bad,but hey,it is different

Nice helmet Gaz. Best not mig-weld it though, you might get arrested. Stick a plaster over it instead.
