M-1 helmet liner chin straps hiya guys
if like me you collect WW2 US M-1 helmets you'll know how hard it is to find liner parts at cheap & affordable prices the hardest part being the liner chin strap. well you have a few choices leave the liner as is, use post war foreign made ones, buy repro or do what Ive done buy these post war 1960's version almost identical to the WW2 version (but alot cheaper) they are original rather then repro & they give your M-1 lid that finished look
