    A nice front seam late war swivil bail helmet. Can't tell what was on the liner though.

    Nuno, it was very cheap for what it hopefully is. I have my fingers crossed that it is what I think it is. It cost $132.00.

    It could be a PTO medic lid. I wont hold my breath on that one though. The insignia is usually on the rear of the lid. Whatever, for 80 odd quid I don't think it matters if the white paint is original or not.

    It arrived today. Not so sure about the PTO Medic theory. The white paint is old (no UV glow.) It seems to have been roughly done, perhaps with a sponge, and is more of a yellow colour than the photos show.
    Ant thoughts?
