M1 Fixed Bale Medic Helmet

Hi All,
About a year ago I purchased this M1 fixed bale (minus a bale) off the Bay. My first and only purchase off of there, minus a few US Division patches, however I think I did OK as it only set me back $40.

Please take a look and give your opinions. I believe the shell retains its original period paint (or at least I hope so) including the Medic, Company and 3rd Army markings.

The liner is a Capac and I believe it to be WWII era but with a Korean war nape strap (reissue or refurbished?). It's seen better days as you can tell, and may not be original to the helmet, but this can be easily replaced if I decide to do so.

In any case, your opinions are welcomed, good or bad. Thanks in advance!

Is anyone willing to take a stab at confirming if the paint and markings on this lid are original? Your help would be appreciated! Thanks!

The helmet is original but the paint markings i am not so sure there is 2 guys in the us that do that type of work I think one of than is in Laurence KC.
