Nice to see one that has not been throught the mill (Groan...) These often suffer damage. Super example. I always wanted one of these when I collected US stuff 20 odd years ago and I never did find a good one.

    Cheers, Ade.

Please keep that helmet and liner out of the elements. The Hawley Liner is rare and will degrade with changing elements.

    Beautiful helmet and liner.

prosty zolnierz, super !.....nice to see unmessed with....rare (sadly) these days as so many of these M1's get altered and changed into something they never were !

thank you to all our contributors. no idea I am afraid. this example was from a garage sale in Bakersfield a good few years ago. the son also had a USMC HBT jacket with provision for internal " armour " plates and an OD shirt badged up to amphibious unit. I will post pics if anybody is interested.

Willyslancs, I know of a Hawley liner for sale in the States, just the liner mind you, no helmet shell, at around $400 !...a rare bird indeed !

your wish is my command. there were two arrow head devices on the medal ribbon when I first acquired it but one of them seems to have gone AWOL over the intervening years. I also bought the late issue USMC two piece HBT suit , the one with the large cargo pocket " sur le derriere "
