    this is a Euro clone style M-1 that someone has tried to make look like a US WW2 M-1 !!

    Indeed. And not a very good rendition at that. Corking gives the appearance of being unevenly applied, as will happen when it is not mixed in with paint and then sprayed on. This looks like it was sprinkled on, leaving areas of heavy concentrations of it, and sparse areas in others. Liner is, well, lets just say it is not quite right.

    Liner webbing has been replaced as well.
    Not worth the money.........

    looks like someone tried to make it look like an early war set up w/ low pressure liner. not a very good fake in my opinion.

    You mean this one right? Ruco Industries based in valkenswaard.
    I already sent an e-mail to them to confirm this but still no reply.

    Anyway i suggest someone who's expert in the euro-clone helmet to make a special thread about this european made M1. I believe the thread will help the novice original m1 collector greatly, in avoiding the mistake when buying the specific swivel bail type helmet and also liners.

    feldgrau33 yours is a Euro clone not American at all still a nice helmet. also i agree about making a thread for Euro m1 helmets if there is not already. it would be great indeed
