    Korean and World War Helmets The Same pattern. I have the original World War II and the Same helmet shape. Korea changed after the figures, it would not be the same.

    The more I look at the first photo the more I think that it is a WWII ear helmet, repainted as yuengling325 indicated....but the heat stamp still looks post WWII. I'd better leave this alone, I'm probably just confusing things now...LOL.

    i would says its a 1960's M-1 from the shape & the paint job if you could get clearer pictures of the paint finish but its for sure a post war US M-1.

    there is a slight difference in shape im still in the mind its a 1960's shell.
