M1 Helmet Front Seam is this a ww2 helmet ?

ok i just brought this m1 helmet .i have not recevied it yet but i have pictures from the auction but will post better ones if needed.could someone tell me if its ww2 or did they produce copys or some m1's with the front seam after ww2 ? cheers

those water marks are from the new zealand version of ebay called trademe incase your wondering .cheers !also once i receive i will post the heat stamp if that helps also to identify if its a Schlueter or McCord.cheers

yes the shell is WW2 but its been repainted & reissued post war the liner is also post war.
