M1 helmet net and band

[Tank Destroyer]

I have had this net and band for 3-4years and it came off a put together Vietnam era helmet. I am not up on my nets and bands and am curious is the net and band US or European. The band is unmarked with box stitching.

At first glance an M44 US NET,but the stitiching on the neoprene band is poor and should be attached to the net,so maybe a postwar copy as said.!

Thanks guy for the thoughts. I did not have a good feel that it was a ww2 netting but was hoping it was American.
