M1 Liner decal

Got a good deal on this helmet the other day, but I don't know much about the decal. I believe its for the United States Army Ordnance Center and School. If anybody could tell me more that would be great! Liner has MARTIN on the front. I could also use some help dating it, I'm not the most knowledgeable.

The liner is wartime era, in so far as it has the hole for fixing insignia and the design of the A washers and web confirm it is WW2 era. However the Ordnance School insignia is most likely from later. I like it!
