    Found a guy selling of some pots unpainted from a surplus store dating back from the 40`s.
    be a shame to see it rot away, so maybe another restoration job for the summer.
    Seems a little weird for fixed bale front seam not to have been painted, i assume factory rejects maybe the case.

    What a stash of M1's ,are these just out in the open as i see a few filled with water ?

    Yes bud as found hence the condition, decided against it, i remembered the other one i have here.

    What a great find!!! Sad you did not get them. If truly never painted they should still have the “true” heat and lift number from carneige steel factory (ink stamp) and not just the McCord etc stamped lot number.
