HI all, I need some help please?

I collect German gear and helmets, not really US helmets - but this one was cheap, had great patina, was complete and untouched and just called out "buy me" at a antique / junk store recently.

So, I'm a novice here so can I ask the M1 experts if I have provided enough pictures of "MacLean's helmet" to date it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

Dan I stand corrected these Helmets were produced under License from the late 1970's and if you ever find an original AUSCAM cover buy it cos they are rarer than hens teeth, during Nam they were suppied and issued by the US,still a nice buy.........

I also had a stack of those helmet covers......we used them as polishing rags on our cars!.... Funny how things seem so common and not thought of as worth keeping....
