M1 WW2 Frontseam helmet with OD7 webstrap

Hello guys
I picked up this wonderful M1 helmet together with a Canadian Mk2
The shell is a Mccord Frontseam Swievel bail with complete OD7 webbingstrap
The liner is a Firestone liner with a unsual stamp on the strap(VF-....)
It seem WW2 era painted but I was not shure
It have a very high heatnumber 9 K
The liner seem light used
It was very bad overpainted
Exist a OD7 strap in WW2?
If anyone know more about the Stamp in the liner please comment it

I think paint is post-war '50's but over the original paint and texture.

Nice helmet. But it is a us refurbishment from the 1950s / corean war.
